Suzuki V-Strom Desert Express
30 years ago, Suzuki launched the DR BIG, an exceptional travel enduro with an equally exceptional engine concept - with the largest series-produced single-cylinder power unit.
The Hessler Rally Team (HRT) is an absolute expert on the DR BIG, and so the new V-Strom also features those talents and qualities that shaped the machine's reputation 30 years ago.
The modification of the V-Strom does not diminish any of the machine's qualities, but adds new ones, thanks to an adapted design and a new suspension. This makes the suspension much more off-road-friendly after the conversion. The highlight of the whole thing: The registration office and the TÜV will not let you down.
The fork and shock absorber were developed in cooperation with Wilbers and offer with 210/210mm, instead of the standard 160/160mm, much longer working distances. Together with the larger wheels, this primarily contributes to better off-road mobility.
Many other components contribute to making the machine as a whole more stable and robust. The experience that the Hessler Rallye Team has gained from motorsport over the years is unmistakably evident here, and so a travel enduro with a focus on the sporting aspect awaits you after the conversion.
Further information can be found directly in the blog about the machine, which is run by HRT, and the kit, as well as spare parts, can be ordered in the HRT shop.
