Street Glide FLHX | FL4
After initial tests in trade journals, it was clear that the FL4 models of the Harley-Davidson Street Glide series absolutely had to be fitted with the Wilbers Nivomat as an alternative to the factory suspension.
Apart from the modified fork spring, the vehicle is completely identical to its FL3 predecessor and therefore also offers significant potential for improvement.
The fork is not ideal as standard. In the lower range, it feels very hard and has little spring travel.
The shock absorber is, as usual, too stiff.
With the Wilbers Nivomat in particular, we can offer a lot of comfort, traction and ultimately a high level of riding safety.
The negative spring travel is sensibly adjusted by Wilbers. The seat height remains identical to the factory suspension when converting to Wilbers.
